Scheduling

We do our best effort to accommodate to parental needs when scheduling appointments. However, based on many years of experience we are aware that for pre-school children or those requiring extensive treatment, it is more appropriate to see them early in the morning when they are fresher, we can work at a slower pace for their comfort leading to a more pleasant experience. Keep in mind that some appointments may require your child to miss some school hours. – These are considered excused absences. With continued care, appointments during school can be kept to a minimum.

Cancellations and re-scheduling

Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each patient and all treatment rooms are prepared before time. Doctor and staff time is as precious as your time. We greatly appreciate a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel

Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Another patient who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.

Do I remain with my child throughout the visit?

Absolutely - we want you there. Although we usually establish a closer rapport with your child we want you to be present. We will do our best to gain your child's confidence and overcome apprehension. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room.
